Embarking on this venture, I wanted to create a space where I could weave tales of my globetrotting escapades, from exploring countries and cozy hotels to unraveling the secrets of extraordinary places. But more than just sharing my travels, I'm here to pass on the knowledge we've gained as a family, the tips and tricks that have made our holidays unforgettable.

My love affair with travel began at the tender age of 5 or 6, alongside my father, brother, and occasionally, our stepmother or mother (yes, it sounds like a puzzle, but it's our unique story!). Fast forward to the age of 30, and I found myself with a treasure trove of memories from over 40 countries. The credit for this incredible journey goes to my father, who instilled in us the spirit of adventure. From skiing in Sweden to snorkeling in Egypt and hiking in Australia, he opened our eyes to the vast wonders of the world and truly made us thirsty to travel.

My father not only taught us the art of exploration but also fostered qualities that go beyond travel—independence, confidence, curiosity, gratitude, engagement, and humility. He showed us that one doesn't need a travel agent to orchestrate dream holidays; the world is yours to explore, and today, more than ever, it's at your fingertips with the wealth of information available online.

As life unfolded, I became a husband to my soulmate, Kristina, and a father to two adorable explorers, Jonas (6) and Olivia (2). Kristina and I have relished intimate trips for two and now revel in the joy of family adventures. We hope that our blog will resonate with a diverse audience, catering to both fellow couples seeking romantic getaways and parents navigating the world with little ones in tow.

Ah, let me whisk you back to the high school days – a time of youthful exuberance and unexpected love stories. I first laid eyes on Kristina when I was a sprightly 17-year-old, and let me tell you, it was like a scene from a rom-com. I knew right then that I wanted to take her on a date and, dare I dream, marry her someday.

Fast forward to the post-high school adventures, and guess what? Kristina agreed to join me on a study escapade in the UK! For the next delightful 8 years, we crisscrossed the globe, making memories in far-flung corners, tying the knot, and welcoming our first bundle of joy, little Jonas, into the world.

Despite considering ourselves bona fide cosmopolitans, the pull of family tugged at our hearts. So, after our global jaunt, we decided to set our compass closer to home. That's right – we've been soaking in the warmth of family and the charm of Lithuania for the past 5 years. Life's journey has been nothing short of magical, and we're excited to continue sharing it with you! 🌍💑✨
